On August 28, information from the Naval Academy said that, implementing the decision of the Standing Committee of the Central Military Commission, the Party Committee of the Naval Academy organized a ceremony to award the 35-year and 30-year Party Badges, on August 27 in Khanh Hoa. Rear Admiral, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ngo Thanh Cong, Party Committee member of the Navy Command, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Director of the Naval Academy chaired the ceremony.
At the ceremony, the Party Committee of the Naval Academy awarded the 35-year Party Badge to comrades: Rear Admiral Nguyen Huu Thoan, Secretary of the Party Committee, Political Commissar of the Academy; Rear Admiral Chu Ngoc Sang, former Political Commissar of the Academy and 9 party members who have been and are working at the Academy. The 30-year Party Badge was awarded to 3 party members.
The awarding of the Party Badge is a recognition and honor of the Party, the Army, the Air Force and the Academy for the process of striving, training and contributions of party members to the revolutionary cause of the Party.
Speaking at the ceremony, Rear Admiral Ngo Thanh Cong congratulated the party members who were honored to receive the Party Badge. He emphasized that the 35-year and 30-year Party Badges are noble rewards, recognizing the merits, achievements and contributions of the party members.
The Director of the Academy requested party members to continue to maintain their political bravery, qualities of communist soldiers, absolute loyalty to the Party, the Fatherland and the people; promote the qualities of "Uncle Ho's soldiers - Navy soldiers" in the new era.
Party members receiving Party Badges are proposed to continue to be the nucleus of solidarity, participate in building clean and strong agencies, departments, units and the Academy's Party Committee; and at the same time guide and impart experience, ignite revolutionary enthusiasm to the young generation, contributing to building a successor team to meet the requirements of building a revolutionary, regular, elite, and modern Army Service and Academy.
