On December 12, a working group of the Military Region 5 Command led by Lieutenant General Le Ngoc Hai visited and encouraged people in flooded areas of Dak Lak province and inspected the progress of building flood shelters according to the local plan. Also participating were Major General Tran Thanh Hai and representatives of agencies and units under the Military Region.
In Thach Tuan 2 village (Hoa Xuan commune) and Phu Luong quarter (Dong Hoa ward), the working group kindly visited the lives of people affected by floods; listened to each wish of households and gave support gifts to some poor families. The contents recorded at the site help the Military Region Command grasp practical requirements, thereby directing construction units to ensure quality and progress.
Through the inspection, the Military Region Command requested the forces to closely follow the local plan; closely coordinate with the Project Management Board, local authorities and functional forces in each item. During the construction process, units must strictly maintain discipline in mass mobilization; ensure safety for officers and soldiers; and strengthen the military-civilian relationship. The military region also presented gifts and encouraged the construction forces of Brigade 682, Brigade 572 and the General Staff.
Working with local leaders, Lieutenant General Le Ngoc Hai proposed to increase resource mobilization, create conditions to complete legal documents, and ensure the supply of materials for units to speed up progress. The Military Region Command affirmed that it will support workers when the locality requests, to ensure that people have new homes before the Lunar New Year in the spirit of the "Quang Trung Thuong Thanp" Campaign.
Currently, Division 315 has completed floodwatering for a number of households in Hoa Thinh commune and is continuing to deploy many more projects during the day. The construction units raised their determination, striving to complete the project ahead of schedule, helping people stabilize their lives soon.

The historic flood at the end of November in the Central region left 108 people dead and missing, nearly 1,000 houses completely collapsed, nearly 3,400 houses were severely damaged... causing damage of nearly VND 16,200 billion. The Quang Trung Campaign demonstrates the spirit of speed and daring in building houses for families swept away and collapsed by natural disasters. The construction work started from December 1 and must be completed by January 31, 2026 (before Tet).
To speed up the progress, contributing to the success of the rapid campaign to rebuild houses for people in the spirit of the Prime Minister's direction, Military Region 5 organized 100 construction teams, each team has 12 - 15 officers and soldiers, including 3 - 4 highly skilled construction workers.
