On July 11, in Yen Son commune, Son La province, Chieng On Border Guard Station coordinated with sponsors to organize the inauguration and handover of two social security projects including "Loving School - Raising Steps for Children to School" and "Lighting up the Border Area", with a total budget of nearly 1.5 billion VND.
Trang Nam kindergarten branch, belonging to Hoa Ban Kindergarten, was invested with more than 1 billion VND to build 2 solid classrooms, 1 service room, fences, roofs, concrete yards and many teaching equipment. After nearly 4 months of construction, the project has been completed, creating better learning conditions for children in border areas.

On the same occasion, the "Lighting up the border area" project was put into use in Din Chi, Chieng On and Tram Hoc villages with 253 solar power poles over a length of 5.25km.
According to Lieutenant Colonel Cam Ba Thanh - Deputy Political Commissar of Chieng On Border Guard Station, the projects contribute to improving the learning and living conditions of people, while strengthening security, consolidating the people's hearts, creating motivation for people to feel secure in sticking to their villages, joining hands to protect national border sovereignty.
