Working with the Border Guard Command of Duong Dong port border gate, 4 Border Guard Stations of Ganh Dau, Xa Luc, Rach Tram and An Thoi port border gate (under An Giang Provincial Border Guard), the Commander was briefed on the tasks of managing and protecting sea and island sovereignty; Prevention of crime, smuggling, IUU fishing and mobilization of the masses.
According to reports, currently, border guard units on duty in Phu Quoc special zone manage nearly 150 km of coastline, many large ports, nearly 2,500 waterway vehicles, and more than 10,000 tourist arrivals to the area every day.
