Naval Brigade 682 sponsors ethnic minority students

Brigade 682, Naval Region 4 signed a twinning agreement with Song Hinh Ethnic Minority Boarding Secondary School, deploying many activities to support students.

On August 28, in Song Hinh commune (Dak Lak), Brigade 682, Naval Region 4 organized a twinning ceremony with Song Hinh Ethnic Minority Boarding Secondary School.

Senior Lieutenant Colonel Pham Duc Can, Deputy Political Commissar of Brigade 682 and Mr. Nguyen Xuan Hoa, Principal of the school co-chaired. Attending the program were representatives of local authorities, officers and soldiers of Brigade 682, teachers and students of the school. At the program, the two units signed a Memorandum of Understanding, action program and coordination regulations.

Brigade 682 also implemented the program "The Navy sponsors children of ethnic minorities" who are in difficult circumstances and have excellent academic achievements, to support and accompany students on the path of learning, establishing themselves, and starting a career.

On this occasion, Brigade 682 donated the school's "Homeland Sea and Islands" bookshelf with nearly 200 books, newspapers, and magazines about Vietnam's sea and islands; organized commemorative tree planting and sports exchanges.

The sisterhood signing activity contributes to strengthening the relationship between the two units, tightening the feelings and bonds between Navy officers and soldiers and ethnic minorities; nurturing the love for homeland, sea and islands for students.

Through this, the two units accompany students in ethnic minority areas in their studies, and at the same time spread the image and cultural values of "Uncle Ho's soldiers - Navy soldiers" in the new era.
