On the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025), Nghe An Provincial People's Committee issued Plan No. 690/KH-UBND on organizing the Program to meet people with revolutionary contributions and exemplary policy families.
According to the plan, the meeting will be held on the morning of August 28, 2025 in Truong Vinh ward, with the participation of nearly 200 delegates.
The participants include revolutionary veteran cadres, pre-upprising cadres, families of policy beneficiaries, outstanding meritorious people, provincial leaders, representatives of departments, branches, sectors and organizations.
The program not only aims to honor and express gratitude for the great contributions of previous generations in the cause of national liberation, national construction and defense, but also contributes to promoting and educating the revolutionary tradition to the younger generation.
This is also an opportunity to raise awareness and responsibility of the whole society for caring for and supporting meritorious people, continuing to spread the " use of gratitude" movement in the province.
The Provincial People's Committee emphasized that the organization of the program must be solemn, thoughtful, safe and practical, to be both an opportunity for meeting and exchanging, and an event of extensive educational value in the community.
