Once a residential area of free migrant H'Mong people, this place has now been planned, gradually investing in infrastructure and facilities serving life.

According to Mr. Ly A So - Head of Self-management Group of Sub-area 179, agricultural production is the main livelihood of the people, in which coffee is the main crop, besides a part of the durian area. People also grow rice and raise livestock and poultry.

Mr. So said that many households have quite large coffee areas. The small household is about 2ha, the large household is 7-8ha, and the rest is commonly 4-5ha.

The land here is good, coffee yields quite well. In the past two years, coffee prices have increased sharply, at times 100,000-125,000 VND/kg, so people's lives are abundant and have savings" - Mr. So said.

According to Mr. Tua, suitable land and coffee prices maintained at a high level help the family's life change significantly. Many households also have the conditions to build new houses and buy cars and machinery for production.

Local authorities are coordinating with functional sectors to measure, prepare cadastral records, and digitize production land areas.

Households that meet the conditions will be guided to complete procedures for issuing land use right certificates.

In the coming time, Dam Rong 2 commune will continue to propose investing in essential projects such as electricity and domestic water; supporting people to access capital for production development, health care and implementing social security policies.

From a residential area formed by free migrant H'Mong people, Sub-area 179 is gradually changing.

Infrastructure, schools and support policies are creating more conditions for people to feel secure in sticking with and developing the economy in the new land.
