On September 29, at Tien Phong Newspaper, the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union launched a contest to compose symbols for the 13th National Youth Union Congress.
Speaking at the program, Mr. Phung Cong Suong, Editor-in-Chief of Tien Phong Newspaper, said that this contest was widely launched, not only among union members and young people but also to all Vietnamese citizens at home and abroad, as well as international friends living, studying and working in Vietnam.
That affirms the spirit of openness and openness, encouraging creativity of all classes, to find a symbol worthy of the 13th Congress of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union - a symbol of the aspirations of Vietnamese youth.
Speaking at the program, Ms. Nguyen Pham Duy Trang - Secretary of the Central Executive Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, Chairman of the Central Council of the Youth Union - emphasized that the 13th Congress of the Youth Union is a political event marking a new stage of development for Vietnamese youth.
Ms. Nguyen Pham Duy Trang called for the enthusiastic participation of professional and amateur artists and designers, along with a large number of union members and young people across the country.
Ms. Trang also hopes that the contest will find a worthy symbol, demonstrating the spirit of " Pioneer - Solidarity - bravery - Breakthrough - Development" of the young generation. The logo was chosen not only to serve the propaganda work of the congress but also to become a symbol and source of inspiration for young people in the 2026 - 2031 term.
According to the Organizing Committee, the entries must express the theme and spirit of the 13th National Youth Union Congress, emphasizing the slogan " Pioneering - Solidarity - bravery - Breakthrough - Development".
The logo depicts the determination of the young people of the whole country in successfully implementing the country's development goals until 2030, with a vision to 2045. The work needs to use the following details: Badge of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, number XIII in the Roman code, term 2026 - 2031.
The drawing exam is on A4 paper, along with *AI, *CDR, *jpg design files. The application documents include a registration form, color printed works and a concise explanation of the meaning.
The work needs to be creative, simple, modern, well applicable in many sizes and materials, and can be used as a identification set for the congress.
The work must be a new composition, never used or participated in any other contest. If using artificial intelligence (AI) for support, it must be clearly stated. The author is responsible for intellectual property, ensuring no copyright infringement.
The contest takes place from September to December 2025. The deadline for receiving works is November 30. The results will be announced in December 2025. The application should be sent to Tien Phong Newspaper (15 Ho Xuan Huong, Hanoi) or via email: logodh10.baotienphong@gmail.com.
The award structure includes: 1 Special prize worth 30 million VND with a Certificate of Merit from the Central Executive Committee of the Youth Union, certified by the Organizing Committee; 5 - 10 A prizes and 10 - 15 B prizes, all accompanied by Certificates of Merit and cash prizes. The Organizing Committee has the right to preserve and use the entries to serve the propaganda of the 13th National Youth Union Congress.
