Among them, there are 450 new recruits over 18 years old who just enlisted for about 2 weeks. The new recruits have gradually become accustomed to a serious disciplinary environment and a collective lifestyle.
Holding the ballot for candidates, Tran Ky Nhat (resident of Ea Ning commune, Dak Lak province) could not hide his emotion. Nhat shared that when he was still living in his family's arms, he was not really aware of the responsibilities and obligations of an 18-year-old citizen.
Before, I didn't fully understand the meaning of holding the election ballot. But when I joined the unit, being informed about the meaning and importance of the election, I understood more clearly my responsibility to the country," Nhat said.

In neat military uniforms, neat ranks, the new recruits entered the voting area with a solemn and proud attitude.
Em Y Ruby Êban (resident of Ea Tieu commune) excitedly shared: "This is the first time I have participated in the election in a very special circumstance, both becoming a soldier protecting the Fatherland and fulfilling the rights and obligations of a citizen.
In the early days in the military, I encountered many surprises when getting used to a disciplined lifestyle. However, now I have gradually adapted and have strived to practice and cultivate discipline and a really good lifestyle.

For new recruits enlisting in Dak Lak, participating in the election of National Assembly deputies of the 16th term and People's Council deputies at all levels for the 2026 - 2031 term is a memorable memory in the early days of military service.
Each ballot not only expresses citizens' rights but also sends the belief, responsibility and aspirations of the young generation towards the future of the country. From this meaningful milestone, the new recruits continue to strive to train and strive to successfully complete the assigned tasks.
