On the morning of April 4, at Dong Hoi station, leaders of Quang Binh province, along with armed forces units, unions and students, organized a reception, meeting and giving gifts to encourage officers, soldiers and militia and self-defense forces on the way to Ho Chi Minh City to prepare to participate in the parade and parade to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025).
On the same morning, two trains carrying nearly 1,400 officers and soldiers from Teams 1 and 2 stopped at Dong Hoi Station.
Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Quang Binh province Tran Hai Chau, and leaders of the Military Region 4 Command, the Provincial Military Command were present at the station to directly encourage, present flowers and gifts to the forces.
Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Tran Hai Chau emphasized that being chosen to participate in the parade and parade to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the reunification of the country is an honor of not only the individual but also the pride of the unit and the homeland. He wants officials and soldiers to continue promoting the revolutionary tradition, bravery and discipline, successfully completing the assigned tasks.
On behalf of Group No. 1, Major General Le Xuan Thuan - Deputy Commander and Chief of Staff of the Military Region 1 Command - expressed his deep gratitude to the leaders and people of Quang Binh province for their warm and thoughtful reception. He affirmed that this is a great source of encouragement for all forces participating in the parade and parade to be more confident and complete their tasks well on the important holiday.
According to the plan of the Ministry of National Defense, nearly 3,200 people from the military and militia forces participated in the parade, divided into 5 railway troupes. Of which, 4 groups departed from Hanoi Station on April 3 and 4, the 5th group departed from Tam Ky Station (Quang Nam).
