According to Mr. Vo Ho Hoang Vu, the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025) is an important event, on a national scale.
The ceremony was jointly organized by the Party Central Committee, the National Assembly, the President, the Government, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and Ho Chi Minh City.
The event will take place at 6:30 a.m. on April 30 at Le Duan Street (District 1) and the main ceremony will be held in front of Thong Nhat Hall.
The parade and march will take place at the same time as the celebration program, starting from the intersection of Nguyen Binh Khiem and moving through the main stand in front of Thong Nhat Hall.
After the parade and march, the groups will be divided into 4 directions to move to the gathering locations at Tao Dan Park, Ben Bach Dang Park, Hoa Lu Stadium and Le Van Tam Park.
To serve people and tourists to watch the parade and parade live, the organizing committee will install 20 LED screens along major roads.
Of which, 6 screens on Le Duan Street, 3 screens on Nam Ky Khoi Nghia Street; 3 screens on Le Loi Street; 2 screens on Nguyen Hue Street; 2 screens on Dong Khoi Street; 2 screens on Dien Bien Phu Street; 2 screens on Nguyen Dinh Chieu Street.

People and tourists can also watch celebrations, parades, and parades on television and social media platforms.
To ensure order and safety, Mr. Vo Ho Hoang Vu noted that people when participating in watching live on LED screens need to follow the instructions of the authorities.
This is to avoid jostling, pushing, causing unnecessary accidents, as well as preventing theft.
Mr. Vu also emphasized that areas with parking lots are very limited. Therefore, the organizing committee encourages people to limit the use of private vehicles when attending to minimize traffic congestion.
The Department of Culture and Sports of Ho Chi Minh City has also advised the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City to organize activities to celebrate the 50th anniversary of national reunification, taking place from March 20 to April 30. The main activities take place at Nguyen Hue walking street and Ben Bach Dang park.
The parade and march are expected to have the participation of more than 13,000 people, including 35 blocks of the armed forces chaired by the Ministry of National Defense and the Ministry of Public Security. Ho Chi Minh City also proposed adding overseas Vietnamese to the parade.
