The People's Committee of Thai Nguyen province has just issued Document No. 6641 on recognizing, commending and criticizing the progress of disbursement of capital sources for the National Target Program for Socio-Economic Development of Ethnic Minority Areas.
Accordingly, as of December 1, the disbursement progress of capital under the National Target Program for Socio-Economic Development in Ethnic Minority and Minority Areas reached VND 726,365.05 million/VND 1,437,667.65 million, reaching 50.52% of the plan. Of which, development investment capital reached 67.33%; career capital reached 27.38%.
The Chairman of Thai Nguyen Provincial People's Committee praised 3 units with a disbursement rate of 100% (Provincial Military Command, Thanh Cong Commune, Quyet Thang); acknowledged 10 units with good disbursement progress.
At the same time, criticize 29 units with low disbursement rates (from 30% to less than 50%). In particular, 36 units have a very low rate of 0% to 30% (Department of Science and Technology, Van Han commune, Department of Industry and Trade, Department of Construction, Provincial Police, Bac Kan Forestry One Member Co., Ltd., Department of Home Affairs, Department of Finance at 0%).
The Chairman of Thai Nguyen Provincial People's Committee requested units with low disbursement rates to review the responsibility of leaders; clarify subjective and objective reasons. At the same time, urgently develop and propose specific solutions to overcome the shortcomings, ensuring acceleration of disbursement progress in the coming time.
The Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions is responsible for presiding over and coordinating with relevant agencies and units to strengthen monitoring and checking the progress of the program according to functions and tasks.
