The No. 1 working group, headed by Mr. Nguyen Ho Hai, Secretary of the Ca Mau Provincial Party Committee, was assigned to monitor and direct 2 construction investment projects: Ca Mau General Hospital with a scale of 1,200 beds; the project to build the West sea dike from Cai Doi Vam to Kenh Nam and the embankment to prevent and combat coastal erosion in vulnerable sections from the Ong Doc river mouth to the Bay Hac estuary.

Working Group No. 2, headed by Mr. Huynh Quoc Viet, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, is in charge of 8 projects such as: Anti-erosion embankment of Bac Lieu city; Dong sea dike - section from Muong 1 canal to Ke district; Cai Cung storm shelter area; Renovation of infrastructure in Dong Hai saltwater area and Tu Co - Linh Ung route; Erosion treatment project and river reinforcement of Ganh Hao town - section adjacent to Ganh Hao fishing port (old Bac Lieu)...

Working Group No. 3 is headed by Mr. Pham Van Thieu, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, and supervised 5 projects including: Ring Road in Bac Lieu city (phase 1); Ring Road outside Bac Lieu city (phase 1); Hoa Binh 2 bridge construction project + road connecting to Giong Nhan - Go Cat road; DT 9.79 road construction project from Phuoc Long town, Phuoc Long district (old) to Ba Dinh, Hong Dan district (old); Ninh Quoi - Ngan Dua road upgrade project, Hong Dan district (old).
Working Group No. 4, headed by Mr. Pham Thanh Ngai, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, monitored the following projects: U Minh - Khanh Hoi road upgrade and expansion project; Investment project to build a connecting road from Khanh Hoi Fishing Wharf to U Minh - Khanh Hoi road; Land acquisition, compensation, support and resettlement project to implement the Ca Mau - Dat Mui expressway.

The working groups not only monitor the disbursement progress but are also responsible for identifying the causes of the delay, recommending solutions and proposing implementation plans. In particular, the working group has the right to review and evaluate the responsibilities of the heads of agencies, units, and investors if there are delays or failure to complete the public investment disbursement plan.
The establishment of working groups led by key leaders shows high political determination and a way of operating based on clear actions, responsibilities, and specific goals of Ca Mau province.
At the regular conference on promoting the disbursement of public investment capital in 2025 held in early August, the Department of Finance of Ca Mau province reported that the whole province has disbursed over VND 3,300 billion, equal to 27.2% of the plan. There are 17 investors assigned capital plans for 2025 (excluding commune level); of which, 8 investors disbursed above the provincial average (27.2%) and 9 investors disbursed below the provincial average.
