Ca Mau Provincial People's Committee issued a plan to implement the program "Ca Mau - Destination 2026". This is a series of large-scale events to promote socio-economic development and promote the image of Ca Mau land and people.
According to the plan, there are 2 regional-level events: the Mekong Delta Delicious Rice Contest in Ca Mau province, expected to take place from February 2nd to February 6th, and the 2nd Ca Mau Shrimp Festival, expected to be held in November 2026.

In addition, there are 8 provincial-level events including: Participating in the Spring Fair; Cultural Heritage - Tourism Week of Ca Mau; Ca Mau Event - Southern Destination; Participating in the Summer Fair; Event "Hello Ca Mau"; Activities in response to World Tourism Day September 27; Participating in the Autumn Fair and Ca Mau Marathon in 2026.
Within the framework of the program "Ca Mau - Destination 2026", localities in the province will also organize activities: Nghinh Ong Song Doc Festival; Southern Folk Cake Festival of Ca Mau province for the 6th time; Nghinh Ong Ganh Hao River Festival; Hung Kings Death Anniversary; U Minh Forest Perfume Event; Quan Am Nam Hai Festival.
Ca Mau has a very large aquaculture area, leading the country, estimated at more than 420,000 - 450,000 ha (after consolidation), with most of it for shrimp farming, accounting for about 40% of the national shrimp farming area, including many diverse models such as shrimp-forest, shrimp-rice, and intensive shrimp farming. This province is also known to have the largest sea crab farming area in the country with more than 418,000 ha of combined farming area, with an output of about 41,834 tons/year.
