The program was organized by the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Long An Ward in coordination with the Ward Farmers' Association.
Attending the program were Mr. Ha Ngoc Diep - Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Long An ward; Mr. Ngo Thanh Hung - Chairman of the Farmers' Association of Long An ward; Venerable Thich Hue Dung - Member of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha of Tay Ninh province, Deputy Head of the Management Board of Thien Chau Pagoda; Venerable Thich Quang Vien - Member of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha of Tay Ninh province, along with representatives of leaders of socio-political organizations in the ward.
On this occasion, the Long An Ward Farmers' Association presented 45 gifts to policy families. Each gift is worth 500,000 VND, including essential necessities and 200,000 VND in cash.
According to the Organizing Committee, although the material value is not large, the gifts show the concern and sharing of Party committees, authorities, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and socio-political organizations for policy families and people with meritorious services to the revolution.
The activity contributes to the implementation of the "Gratitude" movement, spreading the tradition of "When drinking water, remember the source", and at the same time expressing gratitude to those who have made many contributions to the cause of national liberation and defense of the Fatherland.
In addition to caring for material life, the program also contributes to educating patriotism, fostering gratitude and responsibility of the young generation in preserving and promoting the values that previous generations have built by sacrifice and dedication for the independence and freedom of the nation.
