Xam Temple (also known as Hat communal house), located in Hong Quang ward, Ninh Binh province, was ranked as a Special National Relic in the 17th phase of 2025. This is a place to worship Tran Lam (Senior General Tran Minh Cong) - a famous general who made great contributions to supporting Dinh Bo Linh in suppressing the rebellion of 12 warlords, contributing to national reunification.

After many renovations, the relic complex currently includes 2 main items: Xam Temple and Hat communal house. In which, the temple project is built in the style of the word "Cong", including the front hall, middle hall and rear palace.
The front hall architecture system stands out with 12 military columns and 6 main columns placed at the foot of the stone block, creating a solid structure with a strong traditional imprint.

By the first half of the 20th century, in order to meet the community and administrative needs of the locality, Hat communal house was built in addition.
The project has an architectural style combining tradition and modernity, with a system of concrete pillars, two-story arched roof, inside still retaining the characteristic frame structure of the village communal house.
Not only valuable in architecture, Xam Temple also preserves many valuable ancient artifacts such as: altar, incense table, door panel, statue of Tran Minh Cong, bronze bell...

The Gray Temple Festival is held annually on the 17th and 19th days of the 8th lunar month, attracting a large number of local people and tourists from all over.
Today, Xam Temple is not only a place of worship but also becomes a cultural destination, contributing to spreading historical values to the community, as well as continuing to be a spiritual support and pride of Ninh Binh people.
