The Via Ba Chua Xu Go Thap Festival 2026 will take place from April 30 - May 2, coinciding with the holiday after being recognized as a National Intangible Cultural Heritage.

According to the plan of the Dong Thap Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Via Ba Chua Xu Go Thap 2026 Festival will be held at the Go Thap Special National Relic Site (Doc Binh Kieu commune), lasting for 3 days with many diverse activities.

The ritual part still plays a central role, organized according to traditional folk belief rituals, meeting the spiritual needs of the people. Meanwhile, festival activities are cheerful, aimed at cultural and tourism experiences.

The festival space stands out with exhibitions, specialized publications and many types of art performances. Classical opera performances, "single shadow dance", lion - dragon dance or dưỡng sinh gymnastics activities contribute to enriching the picture of cultural activities here.

In addition, Go Thap rural market is organized as a highlight, combining local product introduction and promotion of routes and tourist attractions. Visitors when participating also have the opportunity to experience folk games such as tug-of-war, stick pushing, sack dancing... contributing to increasing interaction and community cohesion.

Previously, at the beginning of 2026, Dong Thap province held a ceremony to announce the decision of the Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism to include the Death Anniversary of Thien Ho Vo Duy Duong and Doc Binh Nguyen Tan Kieu and the Via Ba Chua Xu Go Thap Festival in the National List of Intangible Cultural Heritage.
