On April 9, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Nghe An province said that the stages of organizing the 2026 Lang Sen Festival are being urgently deployed to ensure that it takes place on schedule, thoughtfully and solemnly.
According to the plan, the Sen Village Festival 2026 will take place from May 17 to 19 in Truong Vinh ward and Kim Lien commune, towards the 136th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birth (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2026).

The ceremony will include many traditional rituals such as offering flowers and incense at Ho Chi Minh Square, Kim Lien Relic Site, Chung Son Temple; along with the procession of Uncle Ho's photo from the memorial house to Lang Sen stadium.
At the same time, the festival part is expected to be organized diversely with sports activities, culinary spaces from lotus, rural markets and many unique art programs, contributing to creating a vibrant and attractive atmosphere for people and tourists.
The highlight of the festival will be the art program with the theme "From Lang Sen to Ho Chi Minh City", scheduled to take place on the evening of May 19th at Ho Chi Minh Square, closing the series of activities with emotional performances, recreating the life and career of President Ho Chi Minh.
According to Ms. Tran Thi My Hanh - Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Nghe An province, this is a cultural and political event of profound significance, not only expressing gratitude to President Ho Chi Minh but also contributing to educating patriotism and the morality of "drinking water, remembering the source".
Ms. My Hanh also said that this year's organization was carefully prepared, ensuring a solemn ceremony part, a rich festival part, and paying attention to factors of security, order and environmental sanitation to create a good impression on people and tourists.
Through the festival, Nghe An province also hopes to continue to spread the image of its homeland, attract tourists and promote local tourism development.
