The strongest wind near the storm center is level 10-11 (89-117km/h), gusting to level 13. The storm is moving north at a speed of about 5km/h.
According to the Hainan Meteorological Agency (China), Typhoon Wutip made landfall in Dong Phuong City, Hainan Province as a strong tropical storm. Maximum sustained winds reach 100km/h.

According to NCHMF, by 4:00 p.m. on June 14, storm No. 1 is forecast to move north-northeast at a speed of about 15km/h and tend to weaken gradually. The forecast location is at about 21.0 degrees North latitude - 109.9 degrees East longitude, in the coastal area west of Zhou Island (China).

4:00 a.m. on September 15: The storm continues to move north-northeast at a speed of about 15km/h and continues to weaken. The forecast location is at about 22.5 degrees North latitude - 110.9 degrees East longitude, in the area north of the Lusi Peninsula (China).

The Gulf of Tonkin sea area (including Co To and Bach Long Vi island districts) has strong winds of level 7, the area near the storm's eye has strong winds of level 8-9, gusting to level 13.
