Typhoon Wutip has canceled hundreds of flights and trains in China. The storm also affected aviation and tourism activities in Vietnam.

Typhoon Wutip is moving along the west coast of Hainan Island and towards the Lusian Peninsula. The center of the storm is constantly fluctuating near the shore, making it unpredictable to predict the storm's path.

The city of Tainan, located in the far south of Hainan Island (China), has closed all mountainous and coastal tourist attractions, suspended some bus routes, stopped construction at all construction sites and required shopping malls and restaurants to close from the evening of June 12.

Previously, Vietnam Airlines informed that Phu Bai (Hue) and Da Nang airports will continue to have heavy rain on the evening of June 12, causing many flights arriving and departing from these airports to change their operating schedules or wait flights.

Vietjet announced that VJ304 flight on the Ho Chi Minh City - Hue route will change direction to land at Cam Ranh airport (Nha Trang) on June 12. The plane and all passengers are expected to continue their journey to Hue when the weather has improved.

Flight VJ569, VJ568 on the Hanoi - Hue - Hanoi route on June 12 changed the departure time to March 13.

The airline temporarily suspended operations of Flights VJ307 and VJ308 on the Ho Chi Minh City - Hue - Ho Chi Minh City route on June 12.

Some other flights are also affected.

Vietravel Airlines has adjusted or canceled some flights from Ho Chi Minh City to Da Nang and vice versa due to the impact of the storm.
