According to the plan, Hanoi will organize fireworks displays at 5 battlefields in the city to celebrate National Day 2. 9. The battlefields include: 2 battlefields in Hoan Kiem ward, 1 battlefield in Thong Nhat park, 1 battlefield at the F1 race track in Tu Liem ward and 1 battlefield in Lac Long Quan flower garden.
In the My Dinh area, the battlefield is located at the F1 race track, National Sports Complex, Tu Liem ward. This is one of 5 battlefields combining high-altitude and low-altitude fireworks on National Day night with a time from 9pm to 11:15pm.
The battlefield is arranged with 700 high-altitude fireworks and 90 low-altitude fireworks displays.
Before G-hour, crowds from many directions flocked to the My Dinh area more and more crowded. Roads leading to the F1 race track area were under great pressure as the number of vehicles and people increased. Many families brought young children early, while groups of friends and tourists chose convenient locations around the area to wait for the fireworks display.

At about 9 pm, the intersections of Le Quang Dao, Le Duc Tho streets, My Dinh square, Cau Giay regulating lake park, flower garden next to the Children's Palace (view from afar, no obstruction of visibility) were all packed with people and vehicles waiting to watch fireworks. Crowds flocked, causing many road sections to be congested, making it difficult for vehicles to move.

Functional forces are deployed on roads around the organized area to ensure security and order, traffic diversion and handle arising situations.
Along with My Dinh, people can watch fireworks at battlefields in Hoan Kiem ward, Hai Ba Trung ward and Tay Ho ward. Two battlefields in Hoan Kiem ward are arranged with 800 high-altitude fireworks each; battlefields in Hai Ba Trung and Tay Ho are 700 fireworks each.

In total, Hanoi used 3,700 high-altitude fireworks and 390 low-altitude fireworks platforms at 5 battlefields on National Day night.
