Brilliant lotus path by West Lake
Hanoi Lotus Festival 2026 taking place from June 26-28 promises to bring a completely different cultural experience.
One of the most anticipated check-in points at the festival is the Lotus Road area stretching along the lake. The space is covered by thousands of lotus flowers and a system of artistic miniatures inspired by the life cycle of the symbolic flower.
The combination of the pink of the lotus, the blue of the water surface and the trees along the lake creates a romantic scene, imbued with Hanoi every summer.
Prominent on the route are 9 small landscape clusters including Lotus and Stone, Contemporary Lotus Wings, Lotus and Moon, Lotus Fragrance, Lotus Bridge, Bach Diep Lotus Photo Frame, Lotus Gate, Lotus Boat and Lotus Market Shop. Each space has its own style, from traditional, nostalgic to modern, turning the entire area into an outdoor check-in point for tourists and photography lovers.
In the early morning or late afternoon, when gentle sunlight covers the lake surface, the entire space becomes poetic like a movie.
Bach Diep lotus pond and bamboo bridge in the middle of lotus blooming season
Right in the area to the right of the welcome gate on Thuy Khue street, visitors will see a elaborately designed lotus pond with layers of Bach Diep lotus blooming on the water surface.
The highlight of the space is the bamboo bridge spanning the lotus pond, creating conditions for visitors to stroll amidst the scent of lotus and capture beautiful moments. With pink covering the lake surface, this place is predicted to become one of the most attractive photo angles of the festival.
Lotus tea space and products inspired by lotus
Opposite the lotus pond area is a lotus tea space and an exhibition area for creative products from lotus.
The booths are designed with roofs simulating giant lotus leaves, creating a unique and naturally friendly architecture. Here, visitors can enjoy lotus tea, explore handicrafts and gifts inspired by the flower, a symbol of Vietnamese culture.
Central miniature landscape and Poetic Water Hyacinth
Located in the center of the festival is a large-scale artwork named "Lotus Soul". Giant lotus flowers combined with a modern lighting system create a prominent highlight both during the day and at night.
Meanwhile, the Ao Thuy Su area brings a completely different space with the pure white color of flowers standing out on the water surface. The gentleness, sophistication and romance of this place create an ideal stop for those who love the peaceful beauty amidst the vibrant festival space.
Stage art and a series of unique experiences
The stage area invested in a modern sound and lighting system is the venue for art performances, fashion shows, cultural exchanges and community activities throughout the festival.
It is expected that the "Sac Sen Tay Ho - Hanoi" parade with the participation of 2,000 people wearing ao dai is expected to become a prominent highlight, aiming to establish a Vietnam record.
In addition, visitors also have the opportunity to participate in experiential workshops such as making lotus tea, weaving lotus silk, artistic flower arrangement and creating handicrafts from lotus.
