About 20km from the center of Dien Bien Phu City, Huoi He Waterfall (in Na Nhan Commune, Dien Bien Phu City) is an attractive destination for tourists and residents because of its wild and majestic beauty. There is also a unique "infinite swimming pool" in the mountains and forests.

The waterfall is about 4km from the center of Na Nhan commune, to get to the foot of the waterfall, visitors must travel about 2km of the mountain road by motorbike. Continue trekking, crossing cool streams and rocky sides quite slippery.

The reward for the effort is a charming natural scenery, fresh air. The highlight that many people fascinates is the "infinity pool" naturally located on the top of the waterfall, at an altitude of about 35m above the falls. It is actually a large stone cavity, full of blue, cool water.

Immersing yourself in this unique swimming pool, visitors can admire the majestic mountain and forest scenery around, while listening to the roar of wild sunflowers, truly an unforgettable relaxation experience.
According to the people of Na Nhan commune, Huoi He waterfall, also known as Huoi He in Thai ethnic language (meaning a stream with many bamboo and ruoi). On hot, sunny days, local people and tourists from far away also come to this waterfall to cool down, relax and organize weekend picnicks.

Ms. Lo Linh Chi - Ang Nua commune, Muong Ang district, a regular tourist with a group of friends coming to the waterfall, said: "I have been to Huoi He waterfall many times. For a travel lover and experience explorer like me, each time I come here, I have completely different emotions, and they are full of excitement.

Ms. Chi also noted that because the road leading to the waterfall is quite difficult, tourists traveling by motorbike need to have a strong handlebar. It is also important to check weather forecasts in advance to avoid going on rainy days.
In addition to its natural beauty, the Huoi He waterfall area also has important historical value. According to local people, right next to the waterfall is Huoi He Cave - a historical site where General Vo Nguyen Giap and his comrades in the Dien Bien Phu Campaign Command had stopped and met to discuss in the early days of the historic campaign.

Today, due to the time and impact of nature, the entrance to Huoi He cave is said to have been buried, making it difficult to pinpoint the exact location as at first.
During the Dien Bien Phu Campaign, the Campaign Command moved the location to the Command Headquarters three times. The first time was at Tham Pon cave, Tuan Giao district, maintained for 32 days (from December 17, 1954 to January 17, 1954).
The second time it was transferred to Huoi He cave, Huoi He village, Na Nhan commune, Dien Bien Phu city, for 13 days (from January 18 to January 30, 1954). The last time, the Command Station was stationed at Muong Phang for 105 days (from January 31 to May 15, 1954).
According to the Department of Cultural Heritage, the Dien Bien Phu Campaign Command in Huoi He Cave (Na Nhan Commune, Dien Bien Phu City) has an area of 443m2 for protection area I and 1,443.5m2 for protection area II.
