At this meeting, the Director of the Department directed the urgent implementation of contents to rectify private medical and pharmaceutical practice in the province.
Accordingly, focus on reviewing all facilities that have been granted a medical - pharmaceutical practice license, ensuring compliance with regulations. For facilities that are not eligible for the requirement to stop operations.
At the same time, Mr. Nam also requested to review all licensed generic drugs, if they do not meet the conditions, and proposed to revoke the generic drug certificate.
Along with that, it is required that units develop a plan to coordinate with the Internal Political Security Department (PA03) of the Provincial Police, conduct inspections of private medical facilities and Spa facilities that take advantage of beauty jobs to perform some unlicensed medical services.

"In the coming time, the Department of Health will coordinate with PA03 Department to organize inspections and supervision of private medical practice and service establishments with signs of violations in the field of medical examination and treatment in the whole province" - Mr. Nam added.
Previously, as reported by Lao Dong Newspaper, on March 31, the Inspectorate of Dien Bien Department of Health administratively sanctioned a massage parlor named Tech Medical (No. 960, Group 12, Muong Thanh Ward, Dien Bien Phu City).
The Department Inspectorate requested the facility to immediately stop the violation (examination/treatment), and temporarily suspend operations immediately after the Inspection Team. Impose an administrative fine of VND45 million and suspend the operation of the facility in medical examination/treatment activities according to regulations.
At the same time, they requested to refund the amount of money gained from the violation (examination/treatment) to the customer with a total amount of 19.5 million VND.
