The temporary road ban schedule takes place from 7:00 AM to 12:30 PM on January 8, 2026, applied to all vehicles circulating on the roads around My Dinh Stadium area, according to a notice from Hanoi City Police.
Specifically, 2 temporarily prohibited roads include:
Le Duc Tho (section from Le Quang Dao to Nguyen Hoang)
Le Quang Dao (section from Le Duc Tho to Me Tri, Chau Van Liem).
Vehicles allowed to circulate include: vehicles of forces participating in and serving the exercise, vehicles with protection badges, and vehicles handling and fixing incidents.
During the launching ceremony and plan exercise, Hanoi City Police will divert traffic and guide vehicles from National Highway 32 to Thang Long Avenue and vice versa according to the following routes:
Ho Tung Mau - Pham Hung - Thang Long Avenue or Pham Hung - turn right Me Tri - turn left Le Quang Dao - Thang Long Avenue or Me Tri - Chau Van Liem - Thang Long Avenue, and in the opposite direction.
National Highway 32 - Xuan Phuong - Provincial Road 70 - Thang Long Avenue, and the opposite direction.
Ho Tung Mau - Le Duc Tho - Nguyen Hoang - Pham Hung - Me Tri - Chau Van Liem - Thang Long Avenue, and the opposite direction.
The road ban schedule is applied to the same time frame on January 10, 2026.
This notice aims to request people, armed forces, officials, employees, tourists and vehicle owners to clearly understand the road ban schedule and traffic diversion, coordinate and help the Police force complete their tasks.
All vehicles circulating strictly comply with the Road Traffic Law. When encountering the priority convoy of the Police and Army forces, vehicles must give way, go close to the right side and stop completely to ensure safety.
When traveling or visiting near Le Duc Tho, Le Quang Dao, Me Tri, Chau Van Liem areas, it is necessary to update traffic information before moving to avoid congestion and ensure safety.
