On January 6, 2026, implementing the direction of the Ministry of Public Security and Hanoi City Police, the Traffic Police (CSGT) force of Hanoi City Police simultaneously deployed a plan to ensure traffic order and safety (TTATGT) to serve the drill program of the plan to protect the 14th National Party Congress.
According to the plan that has been developed, from 6 am on the same day, traffic checkpoints and traffic diversion points are arranged with traffic police forces in coordination with the Army and grassroots police to deploy and organize remote vehicle guidance, not allowing vehicles to enter restricted areas during the preliminary review period.
At the ring roads and areas around the drill site, functional forces focused on guiding vehicles to move according to the traffic diversion plan previously announced by Hanoi City Police, ensuring security, safety and smooth traffic.
According to the plan, the preliminary review and drill program of the plan to protect the 14th National Party Congress (1st time) will take place from 8:00 AM on January 6th in the area in front of stand B square - My Dinh National Stadium and Le Quang Dao, Le Duc Tho streets (section from Me Tri - Le Quang Dao to Le Duc Tho - Tran Huu Duc), Tu Liem ward, Hanoi City.
During the rehearsal service hours, some roads are absolutely prohibited from vehicles according to the announcement of the City Police.
In addition to the task of traffic diversion and ensuring traffic order and safety, in key areas, the Hanoi Traffic Police force also mobilized officers, soldiers and specialized vehicles to participate in parade blocks, serving the Launching Ceremony and exercises of the Congress protection plan.
Participating officers and soldiers are professional soldiers, with professional qualifications, solid political bravery, well-trained, ready to perform the task of absolutely protecting the safety of the Congress.
To serve the Launching Ceremony and drills of the plan to protect the 14th National Congress of the Party, Hanoi City Police issued Traffic Diversion Notices on January 6, 8, and 10, 2026.
Accordingly, from 7:00 AM to 12:30 PM on the above days, vehicles are temporarily prohibited from moving on the Le Duc Tho route (section from Le Quang Dao to Nguyen Hoang) and Le Quang Dao (section from Le Duc Tho to Me Tri, Chau Van Liem), except for vehicles of participating forces, serving exercises, vehicles with security badges and vehicles performing tasks of handling and overcoming incidents.
During the launching ceremony and drills, the City Police organized traffic diversion and directions for vehicles from National Highway 32 to Thang Long Avenue and vice versa along the following routes:
Ho Tung Mau - Pham Hung - Thang Long Avenue; or Pham Hung - Me Tri - Le Quang Dao - Thang Long Avenue; or Me Tri - Chau Van Liem - Thang Long Avenue.
National Highway 32 - Xuan Phuong - Provincial Road 70 - Thang Long Avenue.
Ho Tung Mau - Le Duc Tho - Nguyen Hoang - Pham Hung - Me Tri - Chau Van Liem - Thang Long Avenue and in the opposite direction.
