Update the daily car ban schedule in Ho Chi Minh City from now until the big day on April 30

From April 22 to 30, Ho Chi Minh City will ban hourly vehicles on more than 20 streets in District 1, serving activities to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the country's reunification.

According to the announcement from the Traffic Police Department (PC08), the main events during the 50th Anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day include: state-level rehearsals, preliminary approval, rehearsals and the official celebration on April 30.

To ensure safety and order, the city prohibits vehicles and people without duty from entering the event area.

The list of routes that ban vehicles and limit traffic includes:

Ba Son Bridge (from Thu Duc City to District 1)

Nguyen Binh Khiem (from Nguyen Dinh Chieu to Nguyen Huu Canh)

Dinh Tien Hoang (from Nguyen Dinh Chieu to Le Duan)

Ton Duc Thang (from Le Duan to the turning point before 37 Ton Duc Thang)

Mac Dinh Chi (from Tran Cao Van to Nguyen Du)

Other routes that are also banned from vehicles during the above period include:

Pham Ngoc Thach (from Conua Lake roundabout to Notre Dame Cathedral)

The sections of Hai Ba Trung, Pasteur, Nam Ky Khoi Nghia, Truong Dinh, Nguyen Du, Nguyen Thi Minh Khai are within the central scope

The road ban and vehicle restrictions are also expanded to neighboring routes, including: Le Duan, Nguyen Van Chiem, Le Quy Don, Huyen Tran Cong Chua, Le Van Huu, Han Thuyen, Alexandre De Rhodes, Paris Commune, Dang Tran Con, Thu Khoa Huan, Nguyen Trung Truc, Dong Khoi...

Specific vehicle ban time frames:

April 22 and 25: 4: from 5:30 p.m. to 1:00 a.m. the next day

September 26: reserve according to the actual situation

April 27 (state-level general approval): from 3:00 to 12:00 (may be postponed to April 28)

April 30 (official ceremony): from 3:00 to 12:00
