Opportunities for sustainable eco-tourism development for the western area of Da Nang have been officially opened after the City People's Council (HDND) passed an important resolution.
Specifically, at the 2nd Session, Session 10, on August 12, the City People's Council unanimously approved the Zoning Plan for the construction of a Tourist Area along National Highway 14G, in the Western ecological zone, at a scale of 1/2,000.
According to the resolution, the planning area is about 339 hectares wide, located in Phu Tuc village, Hoa Vang commune. The core development orientation for this area is to build a high-quality eco-tourism and resort area, associated with the conservation and promotion of the inherent value of natural landscapes.
One of the strategic goals of the project is to connect this area with a chain of famous destinations available such as Nui Than Tai Hot Spring Spring Park, Hoa Phu Thanh, Lai Thieu and Suoi Hoa.
This linkage is expected to form a comprehensive, diverse and attractive tourism product, harmonious between the elements of resort, experiential tourism and outdoor sports.
To realize this vision, the plan has divided the area into many specialized functional areas, including high-class resorts, community tourism areas for visitors to experience the ecology, public service areas, tree systems, water surface space and technical infrastructure.
In particular, the indicators of transportation, power supply, water supply, drainage and waste treatment are designed synchronously and modernly, complying with technical standards and paying special attention to environmental protection factors, adapting to climate change.
After the resolution was passed, the City People's Council assigned the City People's Committee to organize the approval and implementation. At the same time, the Standing Committee of the People's Council, the Committees and the delegates will play a closely supervisory role to ensure that the project is realized synchronously and feasibly, maximizing the great potential of eco-tourism in the West of Da Nang.
This is one of the important legal bases, not only creating trust but also being a specific condition for people, businesses, and investors to develop tourism projects. At the same time, there is also a solid and specific foundation for land management, architecture, construction, etc.
