On March 15, the Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee informed that the Bunpimay Lao Tet event in 2025 will take place from April 12 to 13 in Buon Don district.
Bunpimay Lao Tet 2025 aims to honor traditional cultural beauty, contributing to preserving and promoting the cultural identity of the Central Highlands ethnic groups in general and the Lao ethnic group in particular.
Thereby, firmly building the great national unity bloc, fostering a special friendship between the two countries of Vietnam - Laos; Laos - Vietnam.
Mr. Pham Trung Nghia, Chairman of the People's Committee of Buon Don district, said: " Bunpimay Lao Tet is organized in combination with cultural and artistic activities, creating a diverse and rich cultural living environment for people of all ethnic groups inside and outside the province.
The event also introduced and promoted the potential and strengths of tourism development and cultural heritage of ethnic groups in Buon Don district".
On the side of the accompanying unit, Mr. Thai Anh Tuan - General Director of Simexco Dak Lak affirmed: "The unit is committed to providing maximum support in terms of resources and facilities to ensure the event is successfully organized.
We also actively contribute to connecting tourism units to make Buon Don a more attractive destination on the international tourism map".
Bunpimay Lao Tet 2025 is expected to attract more than 10,000 visitors, contributing to raising Buon Don and Dak Lak on the tourism map.
The event not only promotes culture but also creates motivation for sustainable tourism, linking the economy with local identity.
