On the morning of July 30, at Dong Hoi Airport, Quang Tri province welcomed an Indian film crew of an international film project called SILAA, with a plan to film at many prominent attractions in the province from July 31 to August 12, 2025.
SILAA film project is managed and produced by producer Rahul Bali - CEO of Innovations India (India). With a total budget of about 4 million USD, the film is a romantic action film, exploiting a love story mixed with revenge elements, staged with many thrilling action scenes and eye-catching images.
The film features famous Indian actors such as Harshvardhan Rane, Sadia Khateeb and Karanveer Mehra. The group will film at prominent locations in Quang Tri such as Son Doong Cave, Phong Nha, Tan Hoa, Tu Lan and Hang Tien. In addition, some scenes will also be filmed in Cao Bang, Quang Ninh and Ninh Binh.
The main goal of the project is to promote Vietnam - India tourism through cinema. The film is expected to be released globally in 2026, in India alone, it will be released in about 1,000 theaters, estimated to reach about 8 million audiences directly and widely spread through digital media to the market of more than 300 million potential tourists.
