CEO Björn Bender of Rail Europe, Europe's leading train service provider, has suggested a list of 9 trains worth experiencing in 2025 and the Thong Nhat train is ranked 3rd on this list.
The Reunification Train, which travels on the North-South railway line, will pass through many beautiful landscapes along our country. The route will take visitors from Hanoi to Ho Chi Minh City or vice versa, a distance of more than 1,730km.
While sitting on this North-South Reunification train, visitors will be able to admire the outstanding natural scenery in the three regions of North - Central - South of Vietnam, from mountains, plains to coastal towns.
During the journey from North to South, the Thong Nhat train has many stops so that visitors can visit localities to enjoy regional cuisine and experience the bustling life at each station.
Topping the list is Switzerland's Glacier Express, dubbed the "World's Slowest Express Train."
The Glacier Express connects St Moritz and Zermatt, allowing visitors to take in the Swiss Alps and landscapes on an eight-hour journey.
Other trains that made the list include: Orient Express (Paris - Istanbul), TranzAlpine (New Zealand), Ffestiniog Railway (Wales), Derry/Londonderry - Coleraine (Northern Ireland), Ella to Kandy (Sri Lanka), Rovos Rail (South Africa) and Rocky Mountaineer (Canada).
