On January 20, Mr. Tran Hoang Phong - Chairman of Tan Phuoc District People's Committee (Tien Giang Province) - said that Tan Phuoc District People's Committee has directed My Phuoc Town People's Committee to implement the 2025 Tet At Ty spring flower route. The activity aims to serve the needs of sightseeing, shopping, enjoying cultural spaces, entertainment, creating a joyful, exciting and meaningful atmosphere during the traditional At Ty Tet and celebrating the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam (February 3, 1930 - February 3, 2025).
The 900m long flower street, located on Nam Nguyen Van Tiep Street and Dong Nguyen Tan Thanh Street, will be open to visitors from January 21 to February 2, 2025 (from December 22 to the end of the 5th day of Lunar New Year 2025). The scale of the flower street is designed with 10 miniature landscape clusters. In addition, there are also flowers planted along both sides of the street.
According to Mr. Phong, Tan Phuoc District People's Committee wants to promote the image, honor the cultural beauty, urban civilization and typical products of Tan Phuoc District to tourists and people through this activity, contributing to promoting and developing tourism in Tan Phuoc District. In addition, it also creates an important cultural highlight of My Phuoc town during the Lunar New Year 2025.
Chairman of Tan Phuoc District People's Committee Tran Hoang Phong said that in 2024, Tan Phuoc District's total budget revenue will be 145,869 million VND. The total production value will be 40,838 billion VND.
“In 1994, Tan Phuoc district was established, marking the beginning of the land known as the “flood and alum center” of Dong Thap Muoi region. After more than 30 years of establishment, up to now, Tan Phuoc district has had 11/11 communes recognized as meeting new rural standards; of which, 4 communes are recognized as meeting advanced new rural standards.
The economic life of people in Tan Phuoc district has been improved. The average growth rate of production value in the period of 2020 - 2023 reached 6.58%; average income per capita reached 63.6 million VND/person/year. On August 27, 2024, the leaders of Tan Phuoc district received the Prime Minister's Decision recognizing Tan Phuoc district as meeting new rural standards in 2024," Mr. Phong informed.
