Data from the units that compiled the Da Nang Fireworks Festival season (taking place from May 31 to July 12) has just ended, showing that Da Nang City welcomed nearly 2 million tourists, this is a record mark ever in a fireworks festival.
It is estimated that accommodation facilities in Da Nang have served more than 1.88 million visitors (an increase of 26% compared to the 2024 fireworks season). Of these, international visitors reached nearly 770,000, domestic visitors reached nearly 1.11 million.
Notably, during the 6 days of the fireworks festival, the number of guests also recorded a remarkable growth of about 504,000, an increase of 39% compared to the fireworks season last year.
On average, Da Nang fireworks will welcome over 200,000 international visitors per night (up 46%), domestic visitors will reach over 300,000 (up 36%).
Total revenue from accommodation, food and beverage services and travel during the festival is estimated at VND 5,600 billion, nearly double the same period in 2024.

Ms. Nadia Shakira Wong - CEO of Global 2000, the world's leading fireworks consulting company - commented that the most notable improvement of DIFF 2025 is the vision and strong support from the organizer and local authorities.
This coordination has helped realize a large-scale festival, no event in the world has gathered up to 10 competing countries like DIFF.
As an international event and a private brand of Da Nang, during the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival, flights here also grew strongly.
Statistics from Da Nang International Airport (HKQT) show that on July 11, 2025, the unit had 171 international and domestic flights; on July 12, there were 165 flights, including 55 international flights, an increase of 28 flights compared to the average frequency of the first 6 months of 2025.
A representative of Da Nang International Airport said that the total domestic and international flights at the Port have surpassed the record of 2024.
If the night before the DIFF 2024 final, the Port welcomed 159 flights, an increase of 30-40% compared to the day of the week, by 2025, this number had increased to 171 flights (an increase of 14% compared to the estimated frequency of July 2025) and increased by 40% compared to the first 6 months of 2025.
