All 10 keywords at the top of the "Tourism" section of internet users in Vietnam are domestic destinations.
Da Lat holds the number one position, followed by An Giang, Mui Ne, Da Nang, Ha Long, Quang Ninh, Hai Phong, Ca Mau, Phu Quoc and Vung Tau respectively.
The list is compiled based on Vietnamese search trends in the past year.
For Da Lat alone, the number of searches will peak in the period from January 26 to February 2 - the Lunar New Year 2025.
The appearance of a complete set of 10 domestic destinations shows the trend of prioritizing domestic tourism, while reflecting the growth space of the Vietnamese tourism industry in the context of diversified products and continuously upgraded services.
An Giang recorded a sharp increase in interest after the border merger from July 2025, with second place in the top 10. According to the An Giang Department of Tourism, in 2025, the province is expected to welcome about 24 million visitors, an increase of 27.3% over the same period; total tourism revenue is estimated at 67,684 billion VND, an increase of more than 91%.
In the group of outstanding destinations, Mui Ne - ranked 3rd in the top 10 - attracts thanks to the advantage of blue sea - white sand - golden sunshine, fishing village culture and a chain of coastal resorts with competitive prices.
Da Nang ranked 4th, with a breakthrough number of searches for the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival 2025 this summer.
In 2024, the top 10 most searched tourism keywords on Google include: Malaysia, Vinh Hy, Hoi An, Con Son Can Tho, Gia Lai, Europe, Da Lat, Thuy Chau Tourist Area, Da Nang and Vietnam.
