Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Trinh Thi Thuy emphasized that coming to the Festival, people and tourists will be able to immerse themselves in a space imbued with identity to feel more deeply the values and traditional cultural beauty of the Vietnamese ethnic groups in the activities to celebrate the Lunar New Year that have existed for thousands of years, with outstanding activities.
Opening the Spring Festival in all regions of the Fatherland in 2025 is the bustling atmosphere of the song program to celebrate the glorious Party, celebrate the spring of At Ty, celebrate the country entering a new era, the era of national growth. At the same time, the leaders of the Party and State wished the ethnic minorities a happy New Year.
Also at the Festival, people and tourists can admire the rituals, festivals, good customs and practices of Vietnamese ethnic groups that are recreated and introduced; thereby understanding more about the values and beauty of culture and tradition.
A typical activity at the Festival is the Khai Ha festival of the Muong ethnic group, which means the beginning of a new year, praying for a lucky and prosperous harvest year. At the same time, performing seasonal worship rituals is also an opportunity for Muong people to rest, have fun, entertain, and express their aspirations for a good life.
