This morning (February 15), Politburo member and President Luong Cuong attended the Spring Culture Festival across the country organized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism at the Vietnam Ethnic Culture - Tourism Village (Hanoi).
Accompanying the President were Politburo members, Party Central Committee Secretaries: Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission Nguyen Trong Nghia; Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Do Van Chien.
Spring Culture Festival across the country is an annual activity organized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism in coordination with a number of central and local departments and branches.
This is an annual activity, aiming to honor the traditional cultural values of Vietnamese ethnic groups, contributing to strengthening the great national unity bloc, bringing the atmosphere of traditional Tet to serve tourists in the first days of spring.
The main activities in this year's Spring Beauty Festival in all regions of the Fatherland include: The Song Program to celebrate the glorious Party, celebrate the Spring of At Ty, celebrate the country entering a new era, the era of national growth - Party and State leaders wishing the people of all ethnic groups a happy New Year;
The festival also includes activities such as: Recreating rituals, traditional festivals, performing special heritages of ethnic groups at the "Common House"; recreating the opening ceremony of the tower at the beginning of the new year of the Cham ethnic group in Ninh Thuan province; New rice-first celebration ceremony of the Raglai ethnic group in Ninh Thuan province; Festival of Excavation and introduction of the performance of the Three calendar - National Intangible Cultural Heritage of the Muong ethnic group in Hoa Binh province...
This year, the Spring Colors Festival in all regions of the Fatherland will take place for 3 days, from 14-16.2.2025 (ie 17, 18, 19th of the first lunar month).
The festival was attended by nearly 200 ethnic groups from 28 ethnic communities in 14 localities such as: Nung, Tay (Thai Nguyen); Dao (Hanoi city); Mong (Ha Giang); Muong (Hoa Binh); Lao, Thai, Kho Mu (Son La); Thai (Thanh Hoa); Ta Oi, Co Tu (Hue); Ba Na, Gia Rai (Gia Lai); So Dang ( Kon Tum); Cham Ba-la-mon, Raglai (Ninh Thuan); E De (Dak Lak), Khmer (Soc Trang)...
Through the festival activities, there are performances according to the motto "let cultural entities introduce themselves" to honor the traditional cultural values of Vietnamese ethnic groups, contributing to strengthening the great national unity bloc of the community of 54 ethnic groups, bringing the atmosphere of traditional national Tet to serve tourists in the first days of spring at the Vietnam Ethnic Culture - Tourism Village.
