At "Son of a Wife", Hong Van - Quoc Thuan met Dang Thi Bich Linh (45 years old, from Ca Mau) and Vinenzo Lanzadoro (71 years old, Italian).Currently, the couple lives between Vietnam, Italy and the US.
Their love story began 22 years ago, when Vinenzo came to Vietnam to develop his business.Due to language barriers, he needs an interpreter to support his communication with Vietnamese manufacturers.
After a period of searching, he met and collaborated with Bich Linh.
Bich Linh shared: "He sees that Vietnamese women are very beautiful and very good, so he started pursuing me." Bich Linh added that when she was only in her twenties.
Although he was a bit impressed with Vincenzo because he was good and very " cool", for her, this foreign man was simply the boss.
The director of Bich Linh Company at that time wanted to matchmake Vinenzo with his younger sister, but Vinenzo liked Bich Linh.
The two worked together for more than a year before starting to get to know each other. "One evening out, he held my hand and kissed me, but he did not confess his love. Vincenzo is not the type of romantic man or a sweet person, just an action.
After that, Vincenzo had to go to the US for three weeks. When he returned, he brought a container of the ring and hid it in his pants pocket. When I packed up, I saw and put it in my hand. I asked Vincenzo, he said "I took it before you gave it, that ring is mine".
When I returned to the US, his daughter said that the ring was originally a gift from Vincenzo to her mother, and that it had been a long time since then.When my mother passed away, my mother left it and he gave me this ring.I don't know how much it is worth, but I really appreciate it and wear it until now," Bich Linh said.
One of the memorable memories in their love story was when Bich Linh took Vinenzo back to her hometown in Ca Mau to introduce her family.Her parents were happy and understanding, but her family did not agree.
When he saw the backlash from his relatives, Vinenzo felt worried.He asked Bich Linh about the situation.Immediately after that, the Italian businessman held her hand and decided to leave his hometown that day.After a challenging meeting, the couple decided to build their own happiness.They went to the US to live and work, and returned to Vietnam 4 years later.
When sharing about their married life, the couple did not mention bad habits but only gave each other words of love, making Hong Van extremely admire.Bich Linh happily said that her husband lives a love life, always putting his wife and children first.Vinenzo admits that he is a person who does not like to be stagnant or unhappy in one place but likes to go to many places and do many things.However, this sometimes made his wife feel unstable.
