In the program "You want to date", Quyen Linh introduced the couple, Mr. Tien Bon (40 years old, from Thanh Hoa) and Ms. Thanh Nhan (born in 1982, HCMC). Despite many similarities in work and personality, the two still could not press the date button, leaving the audience regretful.
Mr. Tien Bon introduced himself as a chef, currently having a small restaurant in his hometown. He shared that he is in Ho Chi Minh City to seek opportunities to expand the market and develop his career. Being gentle and small- Talking, he admits that he is "very shy about girls" and lives a life of inner thought. After three relationships, he still maintains his desire to find a woman who can share and accompany in life.
On the bride's side, Ms. Thanh Nhan - cashier of a large restaurant in Ho Chi Minh City impressed with her frankness and strong personality. She admits that her weakness is "hotness", sometimes acting emotionally, but is skillful, confident and knows how to cook deliciously. Thanh Nhan also revealed that she is raising six cats at home, considering them close friends. "If anyone loves me, they must also love my six cats," she humorously shared, making the audience laugh.
When asked about the ideal model, Mr. Tien Bon delighted the studio when he said "your taste is Ngoc Lan" - the show's female MC, because "the sister is a bit fierce". The humorous response made the atmosphere comfortable, helping him somewhat overcome his initial shyness.
In the private conversation, the two quickly found harmony when working together as culinarians. Mr. Bon said he intended to open a drinking place, while Ms. Nhan used to be a milk tea trader and knew how to prepare many beverages. Both agreed that if they were destined, they would share work and life together, "had to tell each other everything, not let others know in advance".
However, when entering the decisive moment, Thanh Nhan did not press the date button. The reason she gave was that "geographical distance and psychology are not ready for a new relationship". She shared: "If you press the button now, it means giving me a chance but my heart is not really open, then it is a lie".
MC Quyen Linh and Ngoc Lan both expressed regret, but also encouraged that "not pressing the button is also a way to respect affection". Although they should not be together, both of them still leave a good impression of sincerity, simplicity and a progressive spirit in life.
