On December 2, volleyball player Nguyen Thu Hoai got married. The big day of the Vietinbank women's team setter took place at a hotel in Thai Binh - her hometown and her husband Bao Anh.
Notably, at Thu Hoai's wedding, defender Doan Van Hau and his wife Doan Hai My also attended to share the joy. Van Hau wore a white shirt. His outstanding height helped the defender of the Hanoi Police team stand out in the crowd.
Meanwhile, his wife Doan Hai My also wore light makeup, an elegantly colored outfit, let her hair down, and carried a designer handbag. Although they were just guests, the appearance of Doan Van Hau's family attracted the attention of the guests.
Doan Van Hau and Doan Hai My are both from Thai Binh. Van Hau and Thu Hoai became close when they both acted as ambassadors for the 2024 Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign organized by Thai Binh Provincial Youth Union in April. Both attended many events of their home province, including the 5th Congress of Delegates of the Vietnam Youth Union of Thai Binh Province, term 2024-2029.
It was these events that brought Thu Hoai and her partner Bao Anh together. The athlete's husband was born in 1998 and currently works at the Thai Binh Provincial Youth Union. Thu Hoai once shared that her love for her partner began when the 1998-born athlete became an ambassador for the 2024 Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign, a program organized by Bao Anh's agency. This was the first time the two met and then fell in love.
The couple both have a passion for volleyball. Notably, Bao Anh is also the niece of the head coach of the LPB Ninh Binh women's volleyball team - Mr. Thai Thanh Tung.
After a period of getting to know each other and getting to know each other, Bao Anh proposed to Thu Hoai on her 26th birthday. The beautiful couple held their engagement ceremony on October 8, got engaged on November 26 and held their wedding ceremony on December 2. Thu Hoai's wedding received the blessings of relatives, friends, teammates and fans.
"I really appreciate this relationship. Besides my feelings for my life partner, I also admire and am proud of him. He is an emotional, warm, cheerful, brave and independent person. I feel that both he and I are becoming more and more perfect since we met," Thu Hoai once shared about her husband.
