On January 6, in Hanoi, the Central Inspection Commission held a conference to review the work in 2024 and deploy tasks in 2025, according to VNA.
The report at the Conference said that in 2024, the Central Inspection Commission promptly advised the Politburo and the Secretariat to consider and issue many important documents on inspection and supervision work with many updated and supplemented contents, meeting practical requirements.
The Central Inspection Commission has done a good job of advising on the promulgation and implementation of the Politburo and Secretariat's Inspection Program for 2024 for 10 party organizations. Advising on the comprehensive implementation of tasks according to the Party Charter with "a very large amount of work, the quality, effectiveness and efficiency of inspection and supervision have been improved".
Of which, 19 inspections were conducted for signs of violations against 18 party organizations and 2 party members. Through the inspections, violations and shortcomings of party organizations and party members were clearly concluded; disciplinary actions were taken according to authority against 172 party organizations and 235 party members; and the Central Executive Committee, Politburo, and Secretariat were requested to consider and discipline 26 party organizations and 23 party members.
The Central Inspection Commission completed all 8 inspections when there were signs of violations against 8 party organizations in the leadership and direction of the implementation of projects and bidding packages carried out by Phuc Son Group, Thuan An Group and related enterprises.
Through inspection, disciplinary action was taken against 76 party organizations and 130 party members according to their authority; the Central Executive Committee, Politburo, and Secretariat were requested to discipline 9 party organizations and 11 party members. The Committee directed 13 Standing Committees and Inspection Committees of provincial and municipal Party Committees to basically complete inspections when there were signs of violations against the Party Executive Committees of the People's Committees of relevant provinces and cities...
Completed all 8 inspections of the leadership, direction and implementation of projects and packages carried out by AIC Company, Van Thinh Phat Group and related enterprises. Through the inspection, disciplinary action was taken against 74 party organizations and 92 party members, and the Central Executive Committee, Politburo and Secretariat were requested to discipline 15 party organizations and 34 party members.
Permanent Deputy Head of the Central Inspection Commission Tran Van Ron said that this agency will synthesize and report to the Politburo and the Secretariat the results of the inspection teams of the Politburo and the Secretariat according to the 2024 Inspection Program. At the same time, it will develop a report summarizing the inspection, supervision and discipline enforcement work of the Party during the 13th Congress term and a report on the implementation of the Working Regulations of the 13th Central Inspection Commission; the entire working program of the Commission during the 14th Congress term.
Advise on comprehensive and effective implementation of tasks according to the Party Charter, inspection and control of assets and income; focus on evaluating congress personnel.
Proactively grasp the situation, promptly detect cases with signs of violations of delegate qualifications and election regulations for investigation, verification, consideration and conclusion.
