Han Ye Seul once thought her husband was gay when he constantly showed no interest in her.

In comedian Shin Dong Yup's recent show Zzanbro, Han Ye Seul appeared as a guest, sharing interesting stories about married life.

The 8x beauty said that before meeting her current husband, she felt quite discouraged and lonely because she could not find someone who made her feel safe. However, Han Ye Seul fell in love with her husband at first sight.

"When I first met my husband, he immediately gave me a sense of stability. I don't know if I can say this here, but at that time I thought he liked men. Because I asked him out on a date, to drink and talk, but he didn't show any interest in me," she said.

However, the actress later discovered that her husband was a cautious and rather shy person. Their love began when he drove for hours at night just to attend Han Ye Seul's birthday in a location far from Seoul.

"I knew he liked me back then, so we started dating on September 18, 2020. To celebrate, I even got that date tattooed on my body," Han Ye Seul said.

The couple's love story at that time received many mixed opinions when Dispatch revealed that Han Ye Seul's boyfriend worked at an illegal adult entertainment facility. The actress later had to explain on Instagram that her lover worked at "a karaoke room", not an adult entertainment facility.

Han Ye Seul announced her marriage on her personal YouTube channel in May 2024. She only revealed that her other half is 10 years younger than her, is not a celebrity, and that the two have filed for marriage registration to officially become husband and wife.

Han Ye Seul was born in 1981 in Los Angeles, California. She won the SBS Supermodel Contest in 2001 and began to gain attention in Korea thanks to her impressive height, hot and sexy body and beautiful, lovely face.

In 2003, the beauty turned to acting and appeared in the famous sitcom "Nonstop 4" but did not receive much attention. It was not until 2006 that the actress made an impression with the series "Strange Couple", "Tuyen Van Tre", "Co gai dao vang"... and won many prestigious awards such as Baeksang, Blue Dragon, Grand Bell Awards.

After getting married, she retired to take care of her family and rarely appeared in television projects.
