During holidays, especially April 30 - May 1, Hanoi Zoo often welcomes a high number of visitors. For many families with young children, this is a familiar playground because of its spacious space, many green trees, and children have the opportunity to observe animals in real life.
According to records, many families often choose to take their children to the zoo from the morning to avoid the sun and help their children have more time to observe. Ms. Man Thi Hang (Hanoi) said that every time she takes her children out on holidays, her family always prepares drinking water, hats, paper towels, snacks and a set of spare clothes.

Young children are very tired when walking for a long time, so I often choose to go early, preview the sightseeing area map and choose some areas suitable for my children's age. I also prepare basic items such as hats, hats, water, and hand fans to ensure that my children will not get too hot or too tired," Ms. Ha shared.
Talking to Lao Dong Newspaper, a representative of Hanoi Zoo Co., Ltd. said that on peak times, the unit often increases forces at entrances, crowded points and animal cages to guide and support people.
We recommend that parents when taking young children sightseeing should follow the signs, do not let children climb barriers, do not have acts of teasing or throwing objects into animal cages. These things are both dangerous for children and affect the health and habits of animals," said a representative of Hanoi Zoo.

Representatives of the unit also noted that if parents discover a lost child or cannot find relatives, they should quickly contact security forces and staff at the nearest gates or areas for support. Children should also be guided to find uniformed staff, security guards or support counters instead of finding their parents themselves in crowded areas.
In addition, parents should choose lightweight clothes for children, prioritizing sports shoes or sandals with sturdy straps for convenience when moving. For young children, strollers are also a suitable choice if the family plans to visit for a long time.
