The latest episode of "You Want to Date" attracted attention with the appearance of Mr. Thanh Trung, 42 years old, a Math teacher in Khanh Hoa and Ms. Xuan Mai, 40 years old, currently the head of the recruitment department of a company. Both have experienced major upheavals in their love affairs before coming to the program, with the desire to find a new companion.
Sharing about her past, Xuan Mai said that she used to have a serious relationship and planned to get married in 2019. However, when she discovered that her boyfriend had other relationships, she decided to end the relationship. After that, she suddenly found out she was pregnant and chose to give birth and raise her child alone.
The female guest said that the decision to become a single mother was not easy, especially in the early stages when facing the eyes and prejudices from society. However, she always believes that the child is not at fault and keeping the child is her right choice.

Mr. Trung's story also moved many people. The male teacher said that he and his wife met from 11th grade, loved each other for many years before getting married in 2010. However, the marriage lasting more than a decade ended in 2023. Currently, he is taking care of his daughter alone after his wife left.
When asked about the ideal type of person, both shared the desire to find someone who knows how to listen, understand and is willing to accompany them in life. Xuan Mai said that she needs a man who can share, empathize and build a family together. Meanwhile, Mr. Trung said the biggest lesson he learned from his previous marriage is not to keep everything silent.
After the fence was opened, the two guests had a fairly open conversation. The two exchanged views on marriage, parenting methods and future plans. Mr. Trung affirmed that if the two people lived together, each other's children would be treated like their own.
The female guest also shared her desire to have a simple family with family meals after work and a husband who can become a spiritual support for her.
