On the evening of February 6, on his personal page, male singer Nathan Lee shared information that his father, former Vietnamese Ambassador to the Philippines - Truong Trieu Duong, had passed away.
Next to the photo of the father and son posted, Nathan Lee wrote: "Rest In Peace, Dad! Love you!".
Below the post, many artists such as Ly Nha Ky, Duong Khac Linh, Ngoc Anh, Thuy Hanh, Kim Oanh... sent their condolences to the male singer's family.
Nathan Lee's father, Mr. Truong Trieu Duong, used to hold the position of Director General at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs; Chief Representative of Vietnam's Senior Officials at the Asia-Europe Cooperation Forum, and Governor of the Asia-Europe Fund.
He once achieved the noble title of "Lifetime Ambassador", with contributions to the diplomatic sector far beyond the time limits of his previous terms.
In addition, Mr. Truong Trieu Duong once held the position of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam in the Philippines, Spain...
A few years ago, Nathan Lee shared: "My father and I often meet each other. Every time we eat together, we only tell funny stories and don't ask too much about work. I often take my father's things, many of them are expensive, many of them have sentimental value."
Nathan Lee also said that the thing he regrets most is not being lucky enough to be with his father much when he was young and the pleasure of occasionally asking for pocket money to feel cared for and loved by his father.
Later, when he grew up, the male singer became very close to his father. He was someone he always admired, from his demeanor to his way of working. Every year, on Father's Day, Nathan Lee sent his father loving wishes from the bottom of his heart.
In addition, father and son have very similar tastes in music, cinema and fashion. The male singer born in 1983 also admitted that he inherited his musical ability from his parents. In particular, Nathan Lee's voice is exactly like that of the late Ambassador Truong Trieu Duong.
