13-year-old Libero impresses
At the 2025 Club Cup Youth Volleyball Tournament, in addition to the convincing championship of the Information Corps, a player in the squad also left a big mark, libero Le Thi Hang.
Although she has only joined the army team since 2024, Le Thi Hang has shown outstanding qualities and was named by the coaching staff in the list of participants in the tournament.
In response to the trust of coaches, the 13-year-old libero had a good performance in the quarter-finals, semi-finals and finals to receive the "Best Defensive Player" award.
This is Le Thi Hang's first individual award, and at the same time became the youngest athlete in history to receive an individual award in Vietnamese volleyball.
It is known that when she was playing in the movement in her hometown of Nghe An, Le Thi Hang played as the main striker. However, after joining the Information Corps, libero, born in 2012, moved down to play as a defender.

This afternoon (September 11), Gunma Green Wings club had a friendly match with Himeji before the Japanese national championship. Main striker Tran Thi Thanh Thuy was also given the opportunity to play.
Notably, there was an impressive rear attack by the female athlete born in 1997. From behind the 3m line, she rushed up to hit the ball very hard, causing the opponent to predict the direction of the ball but could not resist. This is also one of Thanh Thuy's familiar hits in recent times when wearing the Vietnam national team jersey.
Thanh Thuy is in the process of energy recovery and quickly integrated into the new team. She is expected to regain her form and shine in the land of the rising sun after many efforts abroad.
