The program "A Midday Date" continues to bring an interesting meeting. Appearing in the program, Mr. Vu Tien Cuong (born in 1995), working as a History teacher in Ho Chi Minh City, introduced himself as a calm and composed person.
He said his hometown is Thanh Hoa, he came to work in Ho Chi Minh City in 2022 and currently lives alone; his family is still in his hometown, some of his siblings are living in Ho Chi Minh City.
On the female side, Ms. Truong Nguyen Nhu Quynh (born in 1999) is an office worker at a non-life insurance company, currently living and working in Ho Chi Minh City. Ms. Quynh shared that she likes to play badminton, is somewhat traditional in her thinking and considers herself "difficult and perfectionist". When reading the desired information board about her partner, the whole studio burst out laughing because her boyfriend's taste is quite clear: mature, calm, communicates well, is emotional and responsible. Meanwhile, Mr. Cuong wants a "gentle, emotional" lover, while emphasizing the height criterion "from 1m70 or more".
When asked about his strengths, Mr. Cuong said that he knows how to care, listen, share and is willing to encourage others in difficult times. His weakness is that he is sometimes shy, hesitant and even shy in front of crowds. For her part, Ms. Quynh frankly admitted that she is diligent, hardworking, and sympathetic but "not very skillful", compensated by hard work and sincerity.
The love life of both is quite gentle. Mr. Cuong shared that he only had a relationship in high school, then stopped when he went to university because each person had their own orientation. Since then, he has learned about a few more people but has not met a truly suitable person. Ms. Quynh also had a relationship about 5 years ago, met for a few months and then broke up due to unfavorable work and circumstances.
The moment of pulling the curtain to meet created a pleasant atmosphere. Mr. Cuong and Ms. Quynh gave each other books as a way to send a message of sharing and understanding. When asked about the cost when going on a date, Ms. Quynh said that the groom's family can pay for the first date, the following dates can be divided equally or "this day you pay, the next day I pay".
Mr. Cuong expressed his agreement, saying that he likes naturalness: if he is the one who proposes first, he is willing to pay, and if the female friend wants to invite him back, he respects it so that everything goes smoothly.
The highlight of this episode is the 30-second hug challenge. After the challenge, Ms. Quynh admitted the feeling of "the heart beating a little faster", the atmosphere became warmer and more emotional. However, at the decisive moment, she did not press the heart button. The reason she shared frankly: "I think I am not vibrating enough to press the button... There is vibration but not strong enough".
Closing the date, the audience could not help but regret but also expressed sympathy for Ms. Quynh's choice.
