When in love, from 2020 to 2022, the plaintiff transferred money to the defendant many times, totaling 106.8 billion VND. After that, Mr. Khue paid 46.1 billion VND. Ms. Nhi repeatedly requested, but her ex-lover did not pay all, so she filed a lawsuit to demand the return of 43.9 billion VND.
At the end of February 2025, the Thu Dau Mot City People's Court (Binh Duong) held a first-instance trial. At court, Ms. Nhi's lawyer said that the plaintiff and the defendant had not registered their marriage. Therefore, Ms. Nhi's defense attorney proposed that the Trial Council (HDXX) accept the entire plaintiff's lawsuit.
On the contrary, the defendant said that Mr. Khue and Ms. Nhi had organized an engagement ceremony, lived as husband and wife, and filed a lawsuit, but there was no loan contract, no term, and no interest.

According to the Panel, Mr. Khue said that the transfer content did not show the loan, but did not prove that Ms. Nhi's donation was 60.7 billion dong. From the above analysis, the panel of judges accepted Ms. Nhi's lawsuit, forcing Mr. Khue to pay the plaintiff nearly 44 billion VND.
Not accepting the above decision, the defendant appealed the entire first instance judgment, requesting the appellate court to try in the direction of rejecting the plaintiff's lawsuit.
The case will be tried by the People's Court of Binh Duong province in the next appeal process (the time has not been announced).
