Thanh Uyen said that the two originally had a group of friends but never had contact. After that, Huy Hieu often texted and invited her out, but did not receive a response.
At that time, he was not my style. I liked a tall, well-dressed boyfriend so I could take pictures with him. And he always wore polo shirts and trousers because he went to work, so I didn't pay attention," Thanh Uyen shared.
After many refusals, Huy Hieu still persistently pursued. One day, Thanh Uyen agreed to meet just because... "seeing invitations all the time is annoying".
I thought I'd give up once to just refuse to get it over with, but unexpectedly after going, I got stuck right away," she humorously recounted.
On Huy Hieu's side, he admitted that he had feelings for Thanh Uyen before and it took almost a year to make an appointment for her to go out. After the first meeting, the two talked very well and officially got to know each other.
To conquer his girlfriend, the male coach chooses a very simple way. Every morning he cooks himself, brings it to Thanh Uyen and then takes her to work. That sincerity makes the female lead gradually change her mind.
At that time, he tried very hard. Every day he cooked and ran over to pick me up, then took me to work. I was touched and decided to give both of us a chance," Thanh Uyen recalled.
However, their love story was not entirely smooth. The couple admitted to breaking up "as usual" because both were hot-tempered.
Every time we argue, it's noisy, after breaking up, the next day we make peace," Thanh Uyen said.
Huy Hieu also revealed that he once got angry to the point of breaking the mirror, causing his hand to bleed. After that incident, he gradually changed to maintain the relationship.
Not only facing emotional conflicts, the two also had to overcome barriers from their families. Initially, Thanh Uyen's parents were not really supportive when they learned that their daughter was in love with a dancer and a roller skating coach because they did not understand the profession clearly.
Huy Hieu shared that when they first met, he had just experienced failure in his career. After the COVID-19 epidemic, the two used to live in a rented room costing about 2 million VND per month and started over together.
It was the companionship and efforts of both during 5 years that gradually changed the family's view. In the end, Thanh Uyen's parents actively urged the two to organize a wedding.
Closing the program, Huy Hieu promised to be less hot-tempered, and Thanh Uyen also committed to changing her hot-tempered personality to nurture her married life.
