A close friend of Barbie Hsu revealed that after the actress passed away, the balance in her registered bank account is currently less than 2 million Taiwan dollars (about 420,000 CNY).
Previously, when Barbie Hsu passed away, experts estimated that the total value of her legacy, including 3 properties worth more than 100 million Taiwanese dollars and many branded handbags and expensive jewelry, amounted to about 460 million CNY.
According to media reports, because the remaining money in the late actress's account was not enough to continue paying the mortgage loan for a luxury apartment in the "Taipei Xinyi" area (Taiwan, China), the bank has made adjustments and tightened management measures.
According to inheritance law, after Barbie Hsu passed away, her assets were divided equally between her husband, DJ Koo Jun Yup, and the actress's two children with her ex-husband Wang Xiaofei. But DJ Koo is said to have given up her inheritance rights and moved out of the apartment.

Wang Xiaofei considered that the last asset would belong to his children, so he decided to bear the mortgage loan for the apartment monthly, with an amount of about 1.09 million Taiwan dollars (more than 200,000 CNY) per month.
However, there is information that Wang Xiaofei intends to sell the apartment because the burden of the mortgage is too heavy. If a buyer is not found, this real estate may be put up for auction under a court order.
It is known that 10 years ago, Barbie Hsu bought the 22nd floor penthouse of the "Taipei Xinyi" area for 362 million Taiwanese dollars. The apartment has an area on paper of about 782 m2. Currently, the value of this real estate has increased to about 460 million Taiwanese dollars (nearly 100 million CNY).
Tu Hy Vien's mother, Ms. Hoang Xuan Mai, also spoke out to express her helplessness, even saying that she might soon have to "sleep on the street".
She added: "Because I did not inherit anything, and I myself was almost exhausted. Those who inherited it, please resolve it yourself. I am also about to be kicked out of the house that I worked hard to earn money to buy. I really don't understand how the court ruled, so I don't know how to answer.
However, on July 8, Wang Xiaofei officially clarified the division of Tu Hy Vien's assets through a lawyer.
According to the law, Tu Hy Vien and Uong Tieu Phi's two minor children inherited 2/3 of the inheritance, and Uong Tieu Phi established a trust fund account specifically for the two children.
Regarding 1/3 of the inheritance under DJ Koo's legal inheritance, Wang Xiaofei said that DJ Koo will decide on the handling according to his personal plan.
Regarding Xu Xiyuan's mother saying that she may be forced to leave the apartment bought for her by her late daughter, Wang Xiaofei affirmed that he has never asked Huang Chunmei to move out of her current residence.
In addition, Wang Xiaofei said that he still regularly pays the monthly mortgage loan on time for the "Taipei Xinyi" apartment and currently has no plans to sell this apartment.
