On the evening of July 8, Dong Son Ward People's Committee (Quang Tri province) said that a fire had just occurred in Con market, causing 4 goods kiosks to be affected.
According to initial information, the fire occurred at about 8:25 pm on the same day. The fire broke out from inside the market area and quickly spread to nearby kiosks.
Immediately after receiving the news, functional forces were present at the scene, deploying firefighting measures and coordinating with people to prevent the fire from spreading.
At about 8:50 PM, the fire was basically controlled and extinguished.
Initial statistics show that the fire caused 4 goods kiosks to burn. During the firefighting process, functional forces and people moved many remaining goods to safe places, limiting damage.
Functional agencies are examining the scene, investigating, and clarifying the cause of the fire.
